When Will XRP Price Hit All-Time High Again? Analyst Prediction

XRP may need nearly three years to reclaim its all-time high, based on its previous price recovery cycles. Trading around $1.25, XRP price is approximately 65% below its record closing price of $3.55, recorded in July 2025. At the current price, XRP needs to rise approximately 184% to return to that level.

Historical data shows that XRP recovered from all five completed major declines identified since 2018. However, those recoveries took between 132 days and 1,326 days, with an average recovery period of approximately 1,066 days.

This suggests XRP could take several years to revisit its previous high, although historical performance does not guarantee another recovery.

How Long Could XRP Take to Reach Its Previous All-Time High?

According to analyst cheeky crypto, XRP’s previous recovery cycles provide an indication of how long investors may have to wait.

Binance daily closing prices identified six occasions when XRP fell at least 60% below its previous peak. Five of these declines have been completed, and XRP eventually returned to its previous high in all five cases.

The recovery periods were:

Fastest recovery: 132 days.Slowest recovery: 1,326 days.Average recovery: 1,066 days, or nearly three years.

However, XRP’s recovery was not immediate. In four of the five completed cases, its price remained below the previous peak one year after crossing the 60% decline threshold.

The January 2018 decline was even more severe. XRP lost approximately 96% from its peak and took around seven and a half years to return to that price level.

These examples show that XRP could recover its previous high, but investors may need to wait longer than a year.

What XRP Price Must Reach Before Returning to $3.55

At around $1.25, XRP has several price levels to reclaim before reaching its previous all-time high.

$1.42: XRP needs to recover approximately 14% to move above this historical decline threshold.$1.57: This is the highest closing price recorded after the August low.$1.99: A move above this level would end the current decline under the analysis’s historical criteria.$3.55: XRP’s previous record closing price, requiring a 184% gain from $1.25.

XRP previously reached a low of $0.99 on August 16, approximately 72% below its record high. The price has already fallen around 30% below the $1.42 threshold.

A move above $1.42 would be an early sign of recovery, but XRP would still need to clear $1.99 before approaching its previous high.

Can XRP Reach a New All-Time High in 2027?

Historical data offers three possible price scenarios for XRP over the next year. These are based on previous price movements, not guaranteed targets.

Bearish scenario: $0.89

XRP could decline toward $0.89 if it breaks below its August low of $0.99. This would represent a decline of nearly 30% from $1.25.

Sideways scenario: $1.13

XRP could remain under the $1.42 threshold and trade around $1.13 over the next year. This scenario would mean the cryptocurrency continues consolidating rather than starting a strong recovery.

Bullish scenario: $2.75

XRP could reach approximately $2.75 if it follows stronger historical recovery periods. This would represent more than a 100% increase from the current price.

Even under this bullish scenario, XRP would remain below its previous all-time high of $3.55.

Therefore, the historical analysis does not establish that XRP will reclaim its record in 2027.

What Could Prevent XRP From Reaching Its All-Time High?

Several factors could make the next recovery more difficult.

First, XRP’s circulating supply has increased approximately 64% since its January 2018 peak. If XRP returns to $3.55 with the current circulating supply, its market capitalization would be approximately $225 billion.

Second, the catalysts behind previous rallies may not repeat. The SEC lawsuit against Ripple was resolved in August 2025, and US spot XRP ETFs launched after the July 2025 price peak.

Third, the wider cryptocurrency market remains important. During XRP’s December 2020 recovery, Bitcoin was trading close to its own record high. In the current market, Bitcoin is approximately 38% below its record, according to the analysis.

The broader crypto market also shows that previous all-time highs are not guaranteed to return. Among 15 other cryptocurrencies listed on Binance in 2017 and 2018, only three have recorded new closing-price highs since 2022.

When Will XRP Hit Its All-Time High Again?

Based on its previous recovery cycles, XRP’s average recovery period is approximately three years. This makes a multi-year recovery possible, but there is no reliable date for when XRP will return to $3.55.

For now, the important levels are $1.42 and $1.99. A sustained move above these prices would indicate progress toward recovery, while a break below $0.99 could expose XRP to further losses.

XRP has recovered from all five completed major declines in the historical analysis. However, its past performance cannot guarantee that it will reach its previous all-time high again.
