Why Is Everything Falling at Once?

Why Is Bitcoin Falling, and What’s Next?

The global markets are heading into November on a bearish note, displaying uncertainty with rising concerns over returns on AI-based investments. Besides, rising oil prices and renewed geopolitical tensions are adding to inflation worries. Moreover, the latest FED policy has done little to reduce uncertainty, and its impact is not limited to crypto markets but is also showing up in global markets, gold & silver.

Bitcoin price slipped to $77,328; Wall Street has recorded its steepest daily decline since June, and gold has fallen to a one-year low. Silver, meanwhile, has dropped below the psychologically important $50 mark. This brings up the question: Is this simply a broad market correction, or are investors facing a deeper liquidity squeeze that is forcing them to sell across asset classes?

Wall Street Sell-off: Technology Stocks Come Under Pressure

After months of strong gains, concerns over rising AI spending, stretched valuations, and returns are adding uncertainty. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 2.86%, marking its steepest single-day decline since June 05. The S&P 500 fell 1.82%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 1.09%. The technology-heavy Nasdaq has also retreated considerably from the monthly high.

Besides, several major technology stocks also came under pressure. Intel suffered a steep decline, while Nvidia, Alphabet and Meta also experienced selling pressure. Alphabet’s decline was even more pronounced, pushing its performance into negative territory. Or now, the sell-off raises questions about whether Wall Street is witnessing a temporary correction in technology valuations or the beginning of a broader retreat from riskier investments.

Bitcoin Joins the Sell-off: Binance Security Breach Adds to Market Pressure

While the weakness across technology stocks has already weighed on investor sentiment, the sector is now dealing with another major concern. The security breach at Binance, one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges. This triggered massive FUD, dragging the BTC price to $76,400, marking the lowest level since September 18. However, the price has recovered above $77,500, while the rally remains stuck within an ascending parallel channel since early 2026.

The recent pullback has brought the price closer to an important support zone, raising questions about whether buyers can prevent a deeper correction.

The RSI dropped from the higher range and reached the average range, indicating that buying pressure is no longer as strong as it was during the previous recovery. On the other hand, the MACD also suggests a drop in buying pressure, with the possibility of a bearish crossover that may validate the beginning of a bearish trend. The $74,336 level is immediate support to watch. Bitcoin is currently trading above this region, but another weekly decline could expose the crypto to further losses.

Currently, BTC price is required to defend this support, which will help to determine the next move.

Gold Price Crashes Below Key Support as Selling Pressure Intensifies

Gold has also come under heavy selling, challenging its ‘safe haven’ reputation during periods of market uncertainty. The precious metal has faced heavy selling, with the latest daily candle showing a 3.68% decline to $3,872.86. More importantly, gold has slipped below its previous support zone around $3,930 to $3,950, raising the possibility of further losses.

The RSI has also dropped into oversold territory, reflecting the strength of the recent selling pressure. The next level to watch is $3,824; a break below this support could expose gold to a deeper decline towards $3,457.49. For now, gold needs to recover the $3,930 to $3,950 zone to ease the immediate bearish pressure. Until buyers manage to reclaim this area, the risk of further downside remains.

Are the Markets Heading Towards a Deeper Correction?

The simultaneous decline in Bitcoin price, stocks, silver & gold shows just how fragile market sentiment has become. Concerns over AI valuations are weighing on technology stocks, while crypto markets & BTC are dealing with broader risk aversion. Even silver & gold, which investors often turn to during uncertain times, have failed to escape the selling pressure. However, this does not point to a bigger market crisis.

The next few trading sessions could offer a better picture of where the market is heading. Bitcoin needs to hold its important support levels, gold must recover the support zone if it was recently lost, and Wall Street needs to show signs of stabilisation. For now, the bigger question is not which asset will recover first, but whether investors will regain enough confidence to return to the markets. Until then, the volatility may remain elevated.
